UPSEE 2021: AKTU University Scraps UPSEE, Admission Through JEE Main

The organising institute of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE), Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) Lucknow, has scrapped the engineering entrance exam. It has also announced that admission into engineering institutes in Uttar Pradesh will be done through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main exam from the next academic year 2021-22. Candidates are advised to check all the details regarding UPSEE on the official site - upsee.nic.in.

Every year, AKTU conducts UPSEE for admission to around 80,000 seats in 750 colleges across the state of Uttar Pradesh. All these UPSEE engineering seats in Uttar Pradesh will be filled through JEE Main exam from 2021 onwards. Hence, candidates are advised to visit the official site of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to download the mock test papers. As per sources, the authorities will be providing the free coaching to the students to get familiar with the JEE Main exam.

The last edition of UPSEE 2020 examination was conducted on September 20 and the result for the same was declared on October 15. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website for information regarding the counselling and admission process.
