The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of the UPSC Preliminary Exams 2018. The candidature of these candidates will be provisional and those shortlisted in this exam can now appear for the main exam. The selected candidates must now fill the detailed application form (DAF) online and submit the same for an admission to the Civil Services Main Examination 2018.

UPSC Preliminary Exam Results 2018

The main exam is scheduled to be held on Friday, Sept 28, 2018. The DAF (CSM) will be available on UPSC from July 23, 2018, to Aug 6, 2018 till 6.00 pm. The admit card for the registered candidates will be released three weeks prior to the date of the exam.

Candidates must also ensure that they fulfil all the criteria for an admission into the exam. "It may be noted that mere submission of application form DAF(CSM), either online or the printed copy thereof, does not, ipso facto, confer upon the candidates any right for admission to the main exam," read the official notification.

Step 2: Click on the preliminary exam results link under Whats New.
Step 3: The detailed notification along with the list of register numbers of the successful candidates will be displayed on the screen.
