The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for filling 6 vacancies to the post of Sub-Inspector of Fisheries under the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Subordinate Service. Age Criteria And Fee
Candidates applying for the post of Sub-Inspector of Fisheries under the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Subordinate Service should have attained 18 years of age as on 07 January 2018. There is no upper age limit for SCs and SC(A)s against whom all the 6 vacancies are reserved. However, both the SC (Arunthathiyar) and SC (General) candidates are also required to pay the application services charges through SBI/Indian Bank. They are also to deposit Rs. 150/- towards One-Time Registration (OTR) valid for a period of 5 years.
Candidates applying for the post of Sub-Inspector of Fisheries under the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Subordinate Service through TNPSC Recruitment 2019 must possess an Associate Diploma in Fisheries Science from the Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Bombay OR must have a certificate in Inland or Marine Fisheries classes conducted by the Govt. of India OR must have a Diploma in Fisheries Technology and Navigation awarded by the SBTET, Tamil Nadu OR must have a Degree with Zoology as the main subject awarded by any Institution/University duly recognised by the University Grants Commission.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates as Sub-Inspector of Fisheries under the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Subordinate Service through TNPSC Recruitment 2019 will be done through a written examination scheduled on 04 May 2019. The examination comprises two papers totaling 570 marks (OMR Format) - Paper I - Subject Paper for 300 marks (Zoology/Fisheries Science) and Paper II - General Studies for 200 marks plus 70 marks for records and interview.
Candidates selected as Sub-Inspector of Fisheries under the Tamil Nadu Fisheries Subordinate Service through TNPSC Recruitment 2019 will be paid under Level 13 in the scale of Rs. 35,900/- - Rs. 1,35,500/- per month.
