74th Republic Day: India will be celebrating its 74th Republic Day on January 26. It was on this day, in the year 1950, the Constitution of India came into force. As given, this year India will be commemorating the 74th year of being a Republic.

This time around, a total of 21 tableaux will be showcased at the Republic Day parade at Rajpath, now known as the Kartavya Path in New Delhi. Several cultural functions will be showcased with the major attraction of the day; Parade.
