PGCIL Jobs 2019 For 35 Trade Apprentices And Assistants; Apply Before 21 February 2019

The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a Navratna PSU under the Govt. of India, has invited online applications from eligible Indian nationals for selection of 35 Trade Apprentices and Assistants in multiple trades/disciplines to be placed in the States/Union Territory of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka & Pondicherry for a period of 1 year.

The recruitment will be for the trades comprising electrical, civil, electronics and telecommunication and human resources. Interested candidates can start applying from 06 February 2019 onwards and submit their applications on or before 21 February 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Trade Apprentices and Assistants in multiple trades through PGCIL Jobs 2019 must meet the prescribed age criteria as specified by the PowerGrid, with relaxations in the upper age limit for reserved categories as per the PGCIL guidelines.

Educational Criteria

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Trade Apprentices and Assistants (HR) in multiple trades through PGCIL Jobs 2019 must have completed their Graduation/Diploma/ITI in Electrical/Civil/Electronics and Telecommunication engineering/trades from a recognised University/Institute. Those applying for the post of Assistants in Human Resources must possess a BBA qualification from a recognised University/Institute.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Trade Apprentices and Assistants (HR) in multiple trades through PGCIL Jobs 2019 will be done based on either a Written Test or Personal Interview as per the discretion of the PowerGrid Corp.

Candidates selected as Trade Apprentices and Assistants (HR) in multiple trades will be paid a monthly stipend as under:

  • Graduate in Electrical Engg - Rs. 15,000/- pm
  • Graduate in Civil Engg - Rs. 15,000/- pm
  • Graduate in Electronics/Telecommunication Engg - Rs. 15,000/- pm
  • Diploma in Electrical Engg - Rs. 12,000/- pm
  • Diploma in Civil Engg - Rs. 12,000/- pm
  • Assistant (HR) - Rs. 12,000/- pm
  • ITI - Electrician - Rs. 11,000/- pm
