The National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC), a Govt. of India enterprise, has called for online applications from qualified and experienced candidates for filling Sixty (60) vacancies to the post of Medical Specialists and Medical Officers (GDMOs) through direct recruitment on a fulltime basis to be posted at its Project/Station hospitals anywhere in India. The application process towards the same started on August 18, 2020 and closes on September 2, 2020.

NTPC Recruitment: Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Medical Specialists and Medical Officers posts through NTPC Recruitment 2020 must not have exceeded 37 years of age as on September 2, 2020 with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 3 years (OBC), 5 years (SC/ST) and 10 years (PWD) respectively.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 300 (General/EWS/OBC) as registration fee either through online (net-banking/credit/debit etc.) mode or through offline mode at SBI as detailed in the advertisement. However, SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM and female candidates are exempted from paying the registration fee.

Candidates applying for Medical Specialists and Medical Officers posts through NTPC Recruitment 2020 must possess an MBBS Degree; MBBS with MD/MS in Medicine/O&G/ Pediatrics from a Medical Council of India (MCI) recognised University/Institute with one to two years' experience in the concerned area as specified in the advertisement.

The selection of candidates to Medical Specialists and Medical Officers posts through NTPC Recruitment 2020 will be done through Shortlisting, Group Discussion/Interview and Document Verification.

Candidates selected to Medical Specialists and Medical Officers posts through NTPC Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the range of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,80,000 per month as per the post.
