HRD Minister Announced Fresh Dates For JEE Main And NEET 2020

Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank conducted a webinar today and interacted with students across the country. He announced the fresh exam dates for JEE Main and NEET 2020. Education Minister also revealed that the exam dates of pending CBSE Board Exams 2020 would be announced within a couple of days.

JEE Main And NEET 2020 New Dates Released

 

The official sources confirm that the IIT-Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) examination will be held on July 18, 20, 21, 22 and 23, 2020. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 will be conducted on July 26. The JEE Advanced 2020 would be conducted in August after JEE Main result.

Earlier, HRD Minister addressed the students' queries through his social pages - Twitter and Facebook. A webinar was conducted on May 5 at 12 PM. Students have raised their concerns regarding board exams, admissions and entrance exams using the hashtag #EducationMinisterGoesLive.

The NEET (UG) exam and JEE Main (April) 2020 were postponed after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide lockdown due to the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19). However, the nationwide lockdown was then extended till May 3 which pushed the exam dates even further. Now, the lockdown has been extended till May 17.
