Nagaland University gets Grade B status by NAAC


Kohima, Sept 15: Nagaland University, the sole Central university of the state, has been accredited Grade B by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Nagaland University has been re-accredited with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.58 on four points at B Grade valid for five years from July 10, 2014, an official release said.

The university got its grade status in July, and it said. NAAC is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to assess and accredit institutions of higher education in the country.
