The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) is likely to provide a crash course to students who are aspiring to appear for Karnataka SSLC Board Exam 2020. S. Suresh Kumar, Primary and Secondary Education Minister, have revealed that a crash course will be offered to students a week before the SSLC board exams 2020.
Earlier, the school education department has decided to promote Class 7 and 8 students without any exams due to ongoing 21-day lockdown to control the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-2019). Students of Class will be promoted based on formative and summative assessment during their class tests.

SSLC Crash Course 2020
The intention behind providing a week crash course for SSLC students is to prepare them for Class 10 board examinations. Students who undertake the crash course would be able to revise the subjects and appear for the board exam in a better-prepared manner.
While interacting with students, teachers and parents, Suresh Kumar has revealed about the crash course. He said that there is too much of gap between classes and exams. Hence, the board has decided to host a crash course for students.
Earlier, the Board has postponed the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The new exam dates will be released on the official website after the lockdown.

On April 15, Karnataka Education Minister, S.Suresh Kumar has ended the rumours spreading in social media regarding the cancellation of the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2020 due to COVID 19 outbreak followed by the lockdown. Minister has confirmed that the decision whether to cancel the exams will be taken after lockdown, i.e., May 3, 2020.
