ICET 2014: Less than 50% students interested to join MBA and MCA

58,104 students interest to join MBA and MCA


After the declaration of the ICET 2014 results in June 09, 2014, the counselling for the MBA and MCA courses in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has commenced.

According the latest information, half of the students who had appeared for the test are not showing interest towards admission to the courses.

A total of 58,104 students out of 1,19,789 had appeared for the ICET 2014 document verification process, which had concluded on September 21, 2014, Sunday.

Kakathiya University, is the conducting body for the ICET 2014. The divided Andhra Pradesh is the reason for the declination of the students for admission to MBA and MCA courses.

ICET 2014 entrance exam is conducted for the admission to full time / part-time / evening / distance mode Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses of all the universities in Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges, commencing in 2014-15.
