CTET Examination 2018: Online Application Form To Be Released Soon

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to start the application process soon for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018. The board has released a notice on June 19 stating that submission of online application for the CTET examination, proposed to begin from June 22, is delayed due to administrative reasons. Even after two weeks from that announcement, there is no further public notice from the board.

According to the official information bulletin, the 11th edition of the CTET exam will be conducted on September 16 and the registration process will take place between June 22 and July 19, 2018. CBSE has also stated that the next dates for the CTET 2018 online application will be announced shortly. Candidates may visit CTET website regularly for updates.

CTET Applications To Be Released Soon

According to the Tweet from HRD Minister, Prakash Javadekar, CTET exam pattern consists of two papers and exam will be conducted in all the 20 Indian languages. For general and OBC candidates, the application fee for CTET 2018 is Rs 600/- for a single paper and Rs 1200/- for both the papers. For SC/ST candidates, Rs 350/- for a single paper and Rs 600/- for both the papers.

Interested candidates have to apply online for the CTET 2018 through official website - ctet.nic.in. One has to create an account for the CTET registration. The online application process will be completed only after the fee payment and uploading of the scanned images of their photograph and signature.

The CTET exam is conducted for teaching positions in central government schools from class 1 to 8. The exam is conducted twice in a year and will take place in the month of September in over 90 test cities spread across the country. The CTET exam will be conducted for teaching positions in schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya, Central Tibetan Schools and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya besides schools under the administrative control of the Union Territories (UTs).
