CBSE Exam Centre 2020: Students Can Appear For Board Exams In Other Districts

Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has shared important information regarding the CBSE board exam centre 2020. He targeted the CBSE students who are currently not in the same district as their board examination centres. The Board has decided that students who went back to their homes states/districts can inform their schools. They will be permitted to write board exams 2020 in the districts where they currently are. Students will be told about what school they will be able to write pending papers of board examination. Mr Nishank has shared the information through his official Twitter account.

 

Earlier, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the new exam schedule for the remaining subjects or papers of both Class 10 and Class 12. The exams will be held between July 1 and 15, 2020.

HRD Minister tweeted, "Thousands of children had moved to their home state due to the COVID-19 crisis, keeping in mind the problem of students appearing in the CBSE board examinations. CBSE has decided that such students can take their board exams only in their home district.

Earlier, Minister tweeted, "Attention! Students who are currently not in the same district as their board examination centre, we have a major announcement coming their way this evening. Stay tuned!"

Students who are appearing for exams should note that earlier HRD Minister had confirmed that the remaining papers or subjects would be conducted in their own schools. Now, HRD Minister made an announcement to the students who are not currently in the same district.

The sources suggest that HRD Minister and CBSE have considered several requests of students who travel to their hometown with their family due to the lockdown. In case of any discrepancy, students are advised to contact their respective school. It is also advised to visit the official website for detailed information.
