Vignan University will be organizing Vignan's Scholastic Aptitude Test (V-SAT), the online entrance test for the admissions to various courses for the year 2018-19. The examination will be conducted from April 21 to 25, 2017. The Vice-Chancellor of the University Mr. M.Y.S Prasad announced the admissions and the dates for the exam.
A notification was released by the Vice Chancellor inviting applications for B.Tech programmes, BBA, BCA, B.Sc, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and Ph.D. programmes. The university is also providing admissions for B.Pharmacy, starting from the next academic year.
Dr.Prasad stated that under the B.Tech programme Agricultural, Automobile, Biotechnology, Bio-Informatics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE, Food Technology, IT, Mechanical, Petroleum Engineering and Textile and Fashion Technology courses will be offered by Vignan University.
The campus placements from the university have ascended with 716 students being recruited by top companies like Hyundai, TCS, IBM and more. The institute is a 'NAAC- A' grade university and as per the Registrar, M.S. Raghunathan, the institute is providing caching in for students who are preparing for Civil Services along with B.Tech programmes.
The application forms are available in the Vignan group of Institutions and at various offices of Vignana in cities like Guntur, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Eluru, Rajamahendravaram and Ongole. For the first 50 rankers, the institute will be providing full scholarships, for 51-100 ranks there will be 50 percent scholarship and 100 to 200 rank the scholarship would be for 25 percent. The scholarships will be awarded on basis of the JEE (mains and Advanced) and Eamcet ranks.
