Study Says, Placement Percentage Will Be Decreased

Placement2013 To Have Decreased Results
A survey conducted in order to know about the increase/decrease in the Placement for the financial year says that almost around 56% of the 125 recruiters surveyed by a job search site believes that the placement in 2013 will be lesser.


The survey was conducted with the recruiters across sectors to measure an understanding on the campus hiring outlook for 2013-14 and the ley challenges faced by them on-campus. It is all measured as the considerable drop in students intake when compared to last year. However, colleges claimed that the pre-placement offers made to students is on the rise and does not show signs of a slowdown.

Recruiters who hire only management graduates reveal that they shall will visit lesser campuses and will hire fewer students, recruiters hiring only engineering had divided opinion. Around 50% of them said that there will be a drop in campus hiring numbers and the rest claimed that they will maintain the recruitment similar to last year.

Yet, the 53% of the IT recruiters feel that campus placements will not be affected because of the ongoing slowdown, while 47% said that they will lower intake in 2013 as compared to last year. The survey was done by, an online portal which is exclusively aimed at searching jobs for fresh candidates.

Well, the results of the increase and decrease of the campus placements shall be completely out during the campus placements held in the financial year 2013.
