IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

The selection process for Officers (Scale-I, II & III) will be done through a three-tiered process that consists of the preliminary examination, the main examination and an interview. However, the final allotment for the Office Assistant post will be based on the online main examination.

The online preliminary examination will be conducted only for the Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer Scale-I. For Office Assistants (Multipurpose), the provisional allotment will be based on the marks obtained in the main examination. For scale-I, II & III, every candidate has to obtain a minimum score in each test of the online main examination to be shortlisted for the interview.

Approximately, three candidates will be called for a single vacancy in the interview process. Prior to the interview process, scores obtained in the online main examination will not be shared with the candidates.

IBPS has clearly mentioned the educational requirements and other prerequisites in the official notification for the Officer (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts.
