National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), which was established by the government to boost the rural economy, has released a recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade A (RDBS). A total of 92 vacancies were announced and this makes candidates more competitive.

NABARD is all set to kick-start the selection process for assistant managers in Grade A with the phase-I preliminary online examination, which is to be held on May 12, 2018. Hardly, two weeks left for the examination. Many aspirants will be putting their best foot forward to complete the whole syllabus of the exam in less time. NABARD Assistant Manager Exam Pattern

NABARD recruitment process consists of three phases, namely preliminary, main and personal interview. The preliminary paper is just a qualifying paper. The duration of the exam is two hours. Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam will be called for the main examination. Similarly, who qualify in main examination will be called for an interview. The preliminary exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks, however, one-fourth of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

1. Compared to the last year, the bank has given more weightage to the economic & social issues and agriculture & rural development. This clearly shows that the bank is more interested in these sections.
2. Aspirants are suggested to visit the official notification for the ESI and ARD syllabuses. We are guessing that the organisers of the exam will not go beyond it.
3. The English has also given equal weightage to the preliminary exam. Aspirants should put extra effort in this section because it carries a good number of marks in the main examination.
4. In order to gain more marks in the English section, aspirants are suggested to focus on improving their vocabulary and grammar.
5. The last days of the preparations should be focused only on the revision part. So never ignore it.
6. One has to take 200 questions in 120 minutes. This means candidates have less than a minute for every single question. Aspirants should focus on accuracy besides speed.
7. There is no specific shortcut of practising. Devote at least two to three hours for practising and solving the previous years' question papers.
8. If you combine English, ESI and ADR, a total of 120 marks are in your pocket. And the same sections are there in the main examination. So prepare for the preliminary exam from the main exam's point of view. This will fetch you more marks besides bringing positive results.
9. Knowledge about computers is very important to score. One can complete this section in less than five minutes. Aspirants are suggested to be strong in abbreviations, shortcuts, etc.
10. Majority of the general awareness section will be covered with current affairs. Candidates are suggested to give most importance to agriculture-related current affairs.
11. The reasoning section is scoring only when you apply the strategies. Focus more on the syllogism, clause test, blood relations, coding and decoding, directions, etc.
12. The data sufficiency, time and work, distance and speed along with basic calculations are important in quantitative aptitude.
13. It is extremely difficult for anyone to complete all the 200 questions; hence, make a strategical plan to attempt the maximum number of questions.
