NEET UG Admit Card

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a single window entrance examination in the country conducted for admission to the medical, dental and AYUSH courses. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be responsible for conducting the NEET Undergraduate (UG) from 2020 onwards. In order to register for the NEET UG, aspirants should meet all the eligibility criteria set by the NTA. 

The NTA is also vested with the authority to issue the NEET UG admit card for the entrance examination. Aspirants have to note that they will not be permitted to appear for the examination without a valid NEET admit card. One can download NEET admit card on the official website of NTA. Candidates are advised to download the soft copy of NEET admit card and preserve until the completion of admission procedure.

How To Download NEET UG 2020 Admit Card? 

Step 1: Visit the official website of NTA – www.nta.ac.in. 

Step 2: Go to the 'NEET (UG)'. 

Step 3: Click on link ''Download NEET (UG) Admit Card'' on the homepage. 

Step 4: Enter the application number, password and the security pin.  

Step 5: Submit the details to access the NEET UG admit card. 

Step 6: Download the NEET UG admit card and take a printout.

Details On NEET UG Admit Card 

After downloading the NEET UG admit card, candidates need to check whether all the details are printed correctly or not. Some of the important details to check are given below.

  • Name of the candidates
  • Name of candidate’s father
  • Roll Number as allocated to the candidate
  • Gender of the candidate
  • Category/Sub-category to which he/she belongs
  • Date of birth, as submitted by the candidate
  • Language in which candidate opted to write the paper
  • Details of exam centre and schedule
  • Candidate’s photograph and signature
  • General instructions

Forgot NEET Registration/Application Number And Password?

Candidates can click on the ''Forgot Password'' on the NTA's official website to get the registration/application number. Candidates need to enter the personal details such as the name, father name, mother name, date of birth, category and security pin. After entering the details, the registration/application number will be displayed. Candidates can use the same to access the NEET admit card. 

Documents To Carry Along With NEET Admit Card 

Candidates should produce a valid photo identity card issued by the Central or State government along with the NEET admit card at the examination centre for verification purpose. If candidates fail to bring either NEET admit card or photo identity card, they will not be permitted to sit in the examination. One should also bring two passport size photograph to the test centre which should be the same as uploaded in NEET application form.   • Voter ID

  • Ration Card

NEET Exam Day Schedule 

The gates of the NEET examination centre will open two hours prior to the commencement of the test. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination centre less than 30 minutes from the starting time of the test. The below table describes the entire NEET UG exam day schedule.

NEET Exam Day Instructions 

  • Candidates are advised to check all the details on the NEET admit card for the exam day guideline or instructions. Some of the most important instructions are displayed below. 
  • Candidates should not carry the electronic devices including calculators and Bluetooth. 
  • The stationery items, jewellery and eatables are not allowed inside the examination centre. 
  • A pen/pencil also not allowed to the exam hall. This will be provided by the examination authorities. 
  • The test takers should follow the dress code prescribed in the official information bulletin. 
  • Light clothes with half sleeves, long sleeves are not permitted. If candidates come in cultural/ customary dress, they should report at least 12:30 PM on the test day
  • Slippers, sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted.
