NCHMCT JEE will strictly be on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the All India (Written Test) JEE. Based on marks scored by a candidate in NCHMCT JEE, he/she will be allotted an All India Rank (AIR). No group discussion or personal interview round is conducted for shortlisting candidates. So, admission is offered only on the basis of NCHMCT JEE merit and rank.
As per Govt. of India rules and regulations, candidates belonging to certain categories like SC/ST, OBC, & General etc. seats are reserved for them. The following seats reserved for certain categories like:
For SC and ST: 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for Central and State Govt. Institutes
For OBC: 27% of seats are reserved
For Physically Disabled: 5% of seats are reserved
Apart from these, one seat in each Central and State Government affiliated IHM is provided for registered Kashmiri Migrants.
