The National Test Agency (NTA) is vested with the authority to conduct Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main. The students have to take the new Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for admissions into IITs, NITs, IIITs, Deemed Universities and other centrally funded technical institutions.
Eligibility Criteria For JEE Main (I) & (II) 2022:
The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE (Main) is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class 12) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination
Those appearing in 10+2 (Class 12) final or equivalent examination in may also appear in JEE (Main) provisionally
Admission criteria in the concerned institution/university will be followed as prescribed by concerned university/institution and as per the guidelines & criteria prescribed by NTA
The candidates who are seeking admission in NITs, IIITs or CFTIs must ensure their eligibility for the admission in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs
Age Limit:
There is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed Class 12 examination in 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022 are eligible to appear in both exams
The candidates should satisfy themselves about the eligibility of age limit requirements of the Institutes in which he/she is desirous of taking admission
Date of Birth should be as on Class 10 Certificate
Nationality:
A candidate must be an Indian Citizen. NRIs, PIOs, OCIs & Foreign national candidates can also apply
The candidates can apply for JEE Main exam only for 3 times. Aadhaar Card is very important to apply for this exam
