Q. What are the test preparation programmes offered by Career Launcher?
Career Launcher is one of the largest education corporate in the country and covers all major areas of test prep including CAT, Law, BBA, Hotel Management, Civil Services, Engineering,GMAT, GRE etc.
Q. What are the branches Career Launcher covers for Law?
Career Launcher(CL) covers almost all the major areas of test prep in law. It prepares students for all the major entrances of Law including CLAT, AILET, CET, LSAT etc. Currently, CL is majorly into preparation for all the law entrances involving colleges which offer Integrated 5 Year Law programmes.
Q. Tell us about CLAT prep and other law entrance prep? Also a brief analysis on CLAT 2011.
CLAT is a common entrance for the eleven National Law Universities in the country. It is one of the most important exams for law aspirants after class XII. The other major law entrances include AILET for National Law University, Delhi, NLUO-AT for National Law University, Orissa, and CET for six colleges under GGSIP University, Delhi, and LSAT for 22+ law colleges.
CLAT was a bit of surprise to all the candidates. Some of the sections were lengthy and required a lot of planning. The General Awareness section was a reprieve as it didn’t involve any static general knowledge. CLAT is all about evaluating one’s understanding of basics and its applications. Majority of the test takers were not able to complete the paper on time and one can expect the cut-off’s to come down marginally as compared to previous years.
Q. How much time is allotted for a particular test prep and on what basis it is decided?
CLAT is of two hours duration and has 200 questions from different subjects. The subjects involved in law test prep are generally same in all law entrances, with minor changes. The basic difference is in the time allotted for each exam. While CLAT is of 2 hours duration, AILET is for 90 minutes only. Similarly, CET and SET for symbiosis is of 150 minutes duration.
Q. Which exam preparation consumes maximum time, training and why?
All the law entrances involve the same level of effort and training. The difference lies in the time duration; hence students are required to practice and make time management strategies accordingly. For the same, at CL, we provide customized mock tests for each of the law entrances, so that students have the required practice before they write the actual paper.
Q. Which exam preparation consumes minimum training and how do the trainers plan it?
Like I said, the difference lies in the time duration. LSAT is however different as it involves testing on Verbal Ability and Reasoning only, hence the required effort is lesser as compared to other entrances.
Q. Among the previous batches which branch has done well in law?
At CL we maintain high-quality training at each of the locations and under each branch. A lot of effort undergoes to train the faculty members and staff. As a result, we have always delivered exceptional results.
