AP EAMCET (EAPCET) Eligibility Criteria

AP EAMCET 2024: The examination is scheduled to take place from May 13, 2024 to May 19, 2024. The exam dates for the AP EAMCET 2024 have been released by JNTU Kakinada. The announcement for the AP EAMCET 2024 will arrive shortly. Candidates can obtain information on AP EAMCET 2024 as soon as the announcement becomes available. Although the official date has not been declared by the APSCHE, the registration period is expected to start in March 2024. ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR FOR AP EAPCET (Previously Known as EAMCET) - 2024

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible for appear for AP EAPCET (EAMCET) - 2024:

  • Candidate should be a citizen of India or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
  • Candidate should belong to the state of Andhra  Pradesh /Telangana. The candidates should satisy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhrapradesh / Telengana. Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
  • Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in qualifying examination.
  • For Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), Pharma.D, B.Tech. (Diary), B.Tech. (Agr.Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Science and Technology (FS & T), B.Sc, (Agriculture Engg) Courses.
  • For B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Hort) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FS&T) Courses.

For B.Tech, B. Pharmacy and D.Pharm:

  • Candidate should have completed or should be in  Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates should have appeared or completed diploma in engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
  • Candidate must have scored at least 45% (40% in case the candidates belong to reserved category) in PCM (PCB for pharmacy) in class 12th or equivalent exam.
  • For pharmacy and science courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission (2024).
  • For engineering courses, candidate should have  completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission (2024) and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions 2024.

For B.Pharm Course :

  • Candidate should have passed or completed the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) 12 examination with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as options, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as Equivalent.
  • The candidates who have appeared for the Final Year Intermediate Examination (10+2 Pattern) and who are awaiting for their results may also apply for AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2024, but their ranks obtained in AP EAPCET 2023 will be valid only if they pass the Intermediate Examination.
  • Candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admission or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee.
  • There is no upper age limit.

For B.Tech (Bio-Technology) Course:

  • Candidate should have passed or completed the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) 12 examination with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as options, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana shall be Eligible.
  • The candidates who have appeared for the Final Year Intermediate Examination (10+2 Pattern) and who are awaiting for their results may also apply for AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2023, but their ranks obtained in AP EAPCET 2023 will be valid only if they pass the Intermediate Examination.

For Pharm-D Course :

  • Candidate should have passed or completed the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) 12 examination with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as options, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the Final Year of the Diploma examination in pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh / Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent.
  • The candidates who have appeared for the Final Year Intermediate examination (10+2 Pattern) and who are awaiting for their results may also apply for AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2024, but their ranks obtained in AP EAPCET 2024 will be valid only if they pass the Intermediate Examination.
  • The candidate should have completed 17 years of age of 31st December of the year of admission (2024) to the above course.
