Tamil Nadu 12th Re-exam Results Released

TN Board Exam Results 2018 have been published by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu. Check out the full details here.

The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary (HSC) Exam Result 2018 was declared by the Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education on May 16, 2018 at 9.30 am. The board conducted the examination from Mar 1, 2018 to Apr 6, 2018 at various test centres across the nation. Every year, 8 to 9 lakh students appear for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations. This year, 8,93,262 of them wrote the exam. The total pass percentage is 91.1%. Girls have outnumbered boys this time. The pass percentage of girls is 94.5% while that of the boys is 89.3%.

Re-exam for the unsuccessful candidates was held in June. The results of the Tamil Nadu HSC re-exam 2018 has been released last night (July 24, 2018). Last year the results were out on July 31.

    How To Check The Tamil Nadu Class 12 Result 2018

    In order to check the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary (HSC) Exam Results 2018, follow the steps given here:

    Step 1: Log on to the TN Results official website.
    Step 2: The link to check the result will be displayed on the home page. Click on it.
    Step 3: A login screen will appear. Enter your credentials.
    Step 4: Click View Result.
    Step 5: The results will be displayed on the screen.
    Step 6: Check your results and save them to your computer.
    Step 7: Take a printout of it for future reference. This can be used as a provisional mark sheet.

    Tamil Nadu Class 12 Exam 2018 Re-evaluation Procedure

    The lines for re-evaluation will open soon and candidates must pay the stipulated fees and submit their applications before the deadline, which will mostly be a few days within the date of announcement of the results.

    As per the 2017 regulation by the Tamil Nadu government, the toppers list or student ranks will not be disclosed in a move to reduce the stress amongst students. This is claimed to reduce the pressure on schools and students to rank amidst their peers.

    The supplementary exam for those who have not cleared the TN 12th exams 2018 was held in June 2018. Those who have failed the regular exams can reach out to the DGE, Tamil Nadu's helpline number 14417 to apply for the re-exam, said the education minister.
