The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, Mangaluru, has invited online applications from qualified and experienced candidates for filling 137 Non-Teaching Staff posts comprising Junior Assistant, Senior Assistant, Technician, Senior Technician, Office Attendant/Lab Attendant, Superintendent and Technical Assistant/Junior Engineer through direct recruitment. The registration-cum-application process towards the same starts from June 19, 2019 and closes on July 17, 2019 by 5.30 pm with July 19, 2019 as the last date for receipt of hard copy of the application.
Candidates interested in applying for Non-Teaching Staff posts through NIT Karnataka Recruitment 2019 must have attained 27 years of age and not be more than 33 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) to reserved categories as applicable. Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 500 (GM/OBC) and Rs. 250 (EWS) respectively as application processing fee through online mode only at https://iris.nitk.ac.in/external_payments on or before July 17, 2019. However, SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from paying application fee. Desirous candidates applying for Non-Teaching Staff posts through NIT Karnataka Recruitment 2019 must have passed 10+2/HSC or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree; B.E/B.Tech/MCA from a recognized University/Institute with desirable work experience in relevant domain. The selection of candidates for Non-Teaching Staff posts through NIT Karnataka Recruitment 2019 will be done through a Written Test/Interview and Document Verification. Candidates selected for Non-Teaching Staff posts will be paid a remuneration as per NITK norms. Candidates applying for Non-Teaching Staff posts through NIT Karnataka Recruitment 2019 must register and submit their applications through online mode on the official NITK portal at https://recruit.nitk.ac.in/ on or before July 17, 2019 by 5.30 pm. Candidates must also take a printout of their submitted applications, and send the same along with self-attested copies of relevant supporting documents to, "The Registrar, National Institute of Technology Karnataka- Surathkal, P.O. Srinivasnagar -575 025, Mangaluru, Karnataka, India," superscribing the envelope as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF___________" on or before July 19, 2019 by speed/registered post.
