(KPCL), under Govt. of Karnataka, has invited offline applications from eligible and experienced candidates for filling 06 vacancies to the post of Welfare and Environmental Officers through direct recruitment on contract to be posted at the Thermal Power Stations in Raichur and Bellary districts. Candidates interested in applying for Welfare and Environmental Officer posts through KPCL Recruitment 2019 must meet the age criteria as per the KPCL norms, with relaxation (upper age limit) to reserved categories as per Govt. of Karnataka guidelines. Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 500 (GM/OBC-2A, 2B, 3A, 3B) and Rs. 250 (SC/ST/CAT-01) respectively as application processing fee in the form of a Crossed Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of KARNATAKA POWER CORPORATION LTD., payable at Bengaluru. Desirous candidates applying for Welfare and Environmental Officer posts through KPCL Recruitment 2019 must possess the following qualifications: Welfare Officer: Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a recognized University/Institution with minimum two years of experience as a Welfare Officer in a reputed organization. Environmental Officer: BE in Environmental/Civil Engineering or BE/B.Tech Chemical Engineering with minimum three years of experience in relevant domain in a reputed CPSU/SPSU/Private Undertaking. Candidates must have studied Kannada as a subject at SSLC/Class 10 level. The selection of candidates for Welfare and Environmental Officer posts through KPCL Recruitment 2019 will be done based on the candidates' academic marks in relevant discipline and work experience in the concerned area. Candidates selected as Welfare and Environmental Officers will be paid a remuneration of Rs. 50,000 per month.
