The Indian Navy has invited online applications from eligible Indian nationals for filling 554 Tradesman Mate posts through direct recruitment to be posted at various Command units of the Indian Navy comprising HQ Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam, HQ Western Naval Command in Mumbai and HQ Southern Naval Command in Kochi. The online registration cum application process towards the same will start from March 02, 2019 and close on March 15, 2019.
Candidates interested in applying for the post of Tradesman Mate through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age, and must not have exceeded 25 years, with a relaxation in the upper age limit up to 30 years for SC/ST candidates and 28 years for OBC categories. Candidates must pay a non-refundable amount of Rs 205/- (Gen/OBC) as examination fee through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST/PWD/Ex-SM and Women candidates are exempted from paying the exam fee. Desirous candidates applying for the post of Tradesman Mate through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 must have passed Class 10/SSC or equivalent from a recognised Board/Organization and must possess an ITI Certificate in Tradesman Mate trade from a recognised institute. The selection of candidates as Tradesman Mate through Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 will be done based on Screening and Online Computer Based Test (Objective Type).
