The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for conducting the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET). The Agency has released the exam schedule for CSIR UGC NET December-2019 and June 2020. Candidates are advised to explore the complete exam schedule.
Annually, CSIR UGC NET is conducted twice a year for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and for determining eligibility for appointment as Lecturer (LS). Candidates who wish to appear for CSIR UGC NET should possess an M.Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for general and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST.CSIR-UGC NET Examination (CSIR-UGC NET) December 2019
