Preparation tips for IBPS PO preliminary exam

With the preliminary paper of IBPS PO scheduled to be held in the month of October, the candidates will be wondering how to go about the last minute preparation. Some would be really confident, some would be worried that they have not prepared well. The IBPS exam will check two things: the knowledge in the given subject and the time management skills.

For IBPS exam, the correct solution should be given in the least possible time. The preliminary paper is having following three sections:

  • Reasoning Ability Paper - It has 35 questions of 35 marks in total
  • Quantitative Aptitude Paper - It has 35 questions of 35 marks in total
  • English Language Paper - It has 30 questions of 30 marks in total

The duration of the test is one hour. In total, there are 100 questions to be solved in 60 minutes.

Be confident: The most important point among IBPS PO preparation tips is to be confident in your approach. Even if you are not doing well in a particular section, do not panic. Develop a cool and calm but sincere attitude.

Never stop learning: Learning should not be a burden but a habit. Subjects like English need more time and labor to comprehend. You must keep reading good books, newspapers and journals, and actively improve your grammar and vocabulary.

While giving the exam, you should be in your best state of mind. You must sleep properly before the exam and relax. Self-confidence is the key to success.
