Crazy things students must do before leaving the university!

University holds a very special place in the heart of a student. Words from the wise say "Student life is a golden life", for the fact that it is only while we are students that we gain obstruction-less knowledge, priceless experiences and loads of fun. Along with incredible personal and professional growth opportunities, students grab the time to have their crazy try-outs and work to enjoy their stint at the campus!

As students we see lots of varied set of classmates. They fall into three categories:

Nerdy or geeky:

These students are hardly visible during the "fun" activities, for instance like, a dance competition, or mad ads etc. A tip for them would be(:) if you end up chasing scores you will have no memories of friends and fun when you look back. All you will remember is you and the books. That is just one experience as against the many your peers end up with. And who knows the one you thought was a slow-learner would end up as your co-worker. Perhaps their other experiences helped them and acted as an add-on to their academics. Balance things out. Do not consider extra-curricular actives as a waste of time. They exist for a reason.

Balanced beings:

These are the students who are most popular among all sort of students. They are good at both academics and extra-curricular activities. If you are one of them then congratulations! There aren't a lot of people who can manage to balance study and fun perfectly. A tip to you would be to keep strengthening your ability to prioritise things. This will help you to remain a balanced being not just in the university campus, but in your life ahead as well.

Fun hunters:

These students are interested in anything which is not academic. If you belong to this creed, you might want to know that it isn't wise at all to do only extra-curricular activities with zero academics. In the long run, you will require good scores as well to earn your daily bread. So balance things. Consider making your academics fun. Use your imagination and you shall soon become a "balanced being".

Now we'll look into how to make your student life worth remembering when you graduate and grow old. They are harmless (we only mean they must be done in good will) and they give you a reason to smile when you recollect them.

Portray a character that you hate - Dress up!

Feel how it would be to be them. You may end up liking them in case you happed to stumble upon the reasons why they are who they are.

Participate in a protest or rally:

The rebellious instincts are at the highest during the student period. Take part in a rally or protest to support something which is good in all terms. The youth power must be put to use for the betterment of all. For instance, start a rally to educate people about traffic and road ethics. Or protest against the people who dirty the nation by throwing things where ever they want and spitting on public places or smoking in restricted areas etc.

Try something out-of-box:

Plan, organise and create. Raise funds for the needy or deprived. Conduct free classes for poverty-landed children.

Hang out with an unknown group of students:

This however should be done cautiously. You don't want to go missing in case things turn negative! On the contrary, meeting other students will expand your horizon of knowledge. Share ideas and work towards making this a better nation.

Create a documentary or a short movie:

Be it about social causes or a horror movies (just for fun) along with your friends playing the characters in the movie. What you'll gain is the planning, management and organising skills. Who knows? Just trying it out may make you realize that you're really good at it and acting was your true calling after all!
