By Super

Time stops for none. Right, we know that already. So, it means that it is utterly important for us to manage time. Managing time not only has a positive aspect, but also makes you more productive in the way you work. When you manage your time, everything will fall into place and you will see success.

Here are 7 pointers to effectively manage your time and to be more productive:

1) Plan:
It is the first thing to do. Plan a time table, which you can follow. Determine how long a particular task would take.

2) Organise:
After having planned, its time to put things into proper places. Create a "to-do" list to follow.

3) Have an aim:
You cannot be a vagabond, starting the journey and being unaware of where you are heading to. Your student life is precious as you would know. Hence, have an aim. Think of what results you'd want at the end of the semester or the student life as a whole.

4) Prioritise:
You must know which one of the tasks that you have to finish has what priority. When you analyse this, you will be able to decide on how much time each task, assignment or subject needs.

5) Follow effective study technique:
Identify if you study better alone or in an group. Have a place dedicated to studying. Know that everything cannot be done at once, split the big tasks into smaller ones.

6) Do not overload:
Know how much of the task you can efficiency handle in a day. Take short breaks of 10 minutes between every 30 minutes of effective studying. This will help you remember what you have studied, better.

7) Be flexible:
There can be events like, falling ill or having an unexpected huge amount of assignments to complete within time etc, for which the time you have scheduled would not be enough. A little glitch like this can make things fall out of place. But, not if you are willing to be flexible. You have to re-organise the schedule and make things work out for you.

Doing all of the above and not being regular at following them can be a problem. Manage the things you have planned out regularly so that the results are productive.
