Univ of Lincoln's Global PG Scholarships of £2000 for Indian Students

UK-based University of Lincoln has announced Global Postgraduate Scholarships for Indian postgraduate applicants for the Academic Year 2016-17. The scholarship worth £2000 is applicable for all the postgraduate courses including the MA and MSc Research degrees. However, the scholarships are not applicable for M.Phil. and Ph.D. Programmes. The Global Postgraduate Scholarship is also available for Indian students who cannot meet the direct entry requirements for a postgraduate degree course and plan to join Lincoln from Study Group's Pre-Masters course.

According to the National Student Survey (NSS) 2015, University of Lincoln is ranked in the top three nationally for student satisfaction. Its numerous courses including Journalism, Psychology, Drama, English and Sport & Exercise were rated amongst the best in the UK by students. These courses were ranked in top 20% in NSS 2015, with Psychology courses ranked number one nationally for the subject area and Biology & Design courses ranked second and third respectively.

Moreover, Lincoln's School of Computer Science (SoCS) is rapidly gaining popularity for its exceptional research work in human-computer interaction and robotics & autonomous systems, including the creation of some of the most intelligent systems like the mobile robots which are capable of meeting the complexities of real world.

The Global Postgraduate Scholarships will be granted to the self-funding students who meet the entry requirements as specified by the University. In order to qualify for the scholarship, the applicants are required to have a good Bachelor degree from a recognized institution with a minimum grade of 50% and applicants seeking Research masters degrees will need to provide research proposals.

The English language requirements are either 60% or above in Standard XII (awarded by a Metro/State Board)or an IELTS overall score of 6.0 or above with at least 5.5 in each element i.e. Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
