IIT Gandhinagar offers Fellowships for Ph.D students

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Gandhinagar has invited applications for Ph.D Fellowships 2015. Scholarships are offered for students pursuing their regular Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D in I st semester) programme in various disciplines for the session 2015.

Scholarship Details:

Students pursuing the Ph.D programme as regulars (RR) will be considered for Institute Fellowship based on the following norms:

• For the candidates Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET/GATE qualification OR
• Graduate degree in professional courses (B.Tech/B.E.) with NET/GATE qualification OR
• Post graduate degree in professional courses (M.Tech/M.E. etc) are offered with Rs. 25,000/- per month
• For the candidates qualifications with 2 years of research experience are offered with Rs. 28,000/- per month

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should at least 55% marks or 5.5 CPI marks in M.A/ M.Sc/ B.Tech/ M.Tech or its equivalent degree in the relevant branches
