Jadavpur University offers certificate course on Buddhist Studies

Jadavpur University, Kolkata offers six-month advanced level certificate course in Buddhist Studies, under ICPR Center for Buddhist Studies, Department of Philosophy.

Regular classes will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM twice a week at Darshan Bhavan, Jadavpur University.

Eligibility:
Minimum three-year bachelor's degree from any of the recognised university / institution. Preference will be given to those who have completed the basic level certificate course on Buddhist Studies conducted by the ICPR Center for Buddhist Studies.

Admission process:
Preference will be given to those who have completed the basic level certificate course on Buddhist Studies conducted by the ICPR Center for Buddhist Studies. The remaining seats will be filled up on First come first serve basis.

Course fee:
Rs 2,000/- for six months.

How to apply:
Interested candidates can obtain an application from the University Information Center on payment of Rs 50/-.

Last date for the submission of the application form is January 05, 2015.

List of selected candidates will be published on January 14, 2015.
