Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur offers a short-term course on FPGA Prototyping using Verilog from 16th to 28th June 2014.
This course aims to cover the FPGA based design flow, starting with the Verilog modelling, simulating the design and verifying the design by prototyping on a FPGA based circuit board. It will include hands-on exposure to an FPGA Kit teach the students how to design and implement digital systems on a FPGA platform.
The candidates are required to have basic programming skills, knowledge of Advanced Digital System Design and Computer Architecture
Who can participate: Category-1 (AICTE Sponsored): Teachers from AICTE approved Colleges / Institutions / Universities. For this category, there is no fee.
Category-2 (Self / Industry / TEQIP Sponsored): Scientific Officers / Instructors / Technical Assistants / Persons from Industries / Students of B.E. / B.Tech. or Equivalent (AMIE / IETE etc.) in EE / ECE / EIE / CSE / IT / B.Sc / M.Sc / B.C.A / M.C.A, etc. In this category, the fee is INR 15,000 for students and INR 20,000 for others.
