The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) 2016 has released WBJEEB EVETS exam dates and other important dates associated with the exam. The WBJEEB EVETS exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 17, 2016.
The entrance examination is conducted to offer admission to candidates in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B V Sc. and AH) programme for the academic session 2016.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Aspirants must have completed class 12 from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination recognised by the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences
- The candidates must have individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and vernacular language along with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology
Age Limit:
Aspirants should not be less than 17 years as on December 31, 2016.

- To Apply Online candidates should visit the official website
- Candidates should have a valid email id and password before he/she starts applying online
- The application should be submitted in prescribed format only
- After submitting the application online, candidate should take print out of the same for future reference
Application Fee:
An application fee Rs. 500/- should be paid by the applicants
Exam Pattern:
- The examination comprises two papers: Biological Sciences and Physics and Chemistry. Each paper will have 50 multiple choice questions
- Candidate will be awarded with 2 marks for every correct answer and for each incorrect answer ½ marks will be deducted
Important Dates:
- The last date to submit application form is June 16, 2016
- The admit cards are available to download on July 12, 2016
- The entrance examination will be conducted on July 17, 2016
