VIT varsity: We do not have any campus in Jaipur

VIT Unversity, Vellore issued a public notice to all students and parents.

According to the available sources, one of the institutions in Jaipur is making some money in the name of VIT University campus.

VIT University, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Raju said, "We do not have any campus in Jaipur."

"VIT is the registered trademark of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University), Deemed University, Tamil Nadu (Trade Mark Registration No 1324167 in Class 41)." notice says.

Notice also says, "Public are hereby informed that, whoever is using our registered trademark "VIT" for any institution in Jaipur or elsewhere in Rajasthan has no connection whatsoever with our University."

"We are taking legal actions against any parties who are infringing on our trademark and misleading the public by using our name." it added.

VIT University was established with the aim of providing quality higher education on par with international standards. It persistently seeks and adopts innovative methods to improve the quality of higher education on a consistent basis.
