UPSC: Paper admit cards will not be issued; download e-admit cards

New Delhi: The UPSC is not issuing paper admit card for the civil services main examination, scheduled to begin from Friday.

 

Candidates should download e-admit card

According to UPSC official the candidates will have to download their e-admit cards and take a printout thereof.

"The Commission has uploaded the e-admit cards on the website of UPSC. The candidates are advised to download their e-admit cards and take a printout of the same. The candidates will have to produce the printout of their e-admit cards at the allotted venue for appearing in the examination," a press release issued by the UPSC said.

"No paper admit card will be issued for this examination by the Commission," it added.

Exam centres and Dates

UPSC main examination will be conducting at 23 centres from December 18 to 23. The civil services examination is conducted annually in three stages - preliminary, main and interview - to select officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.

Candidates should carry Photo ID card

In case the photograph is not visible or available on the e-admit cards, candidates are advised to carry identical photograph for each session along with proof of identity such as valid identity card, Aadhar card, voter identity card, driving license, passport etc. to the venue of the examination.
