On January 18, the registration process for NDA (National Defence Academy) and NA (Naval Academy)are set to commence.
The exam will be held for the recruitment of defence posts such as army, navy and air force wings of the NDA. It is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for admission into these posts.
Candidates can apply for the exams at UPSC official website. On April 23, the exam will be held and the courses will commence from July 2.
Educational qualification:
For NDA
For those candidates interested in applying for the academy, they must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board/university.
For Air Force and Naval Wings
Candidates need to have cleared Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board/university with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Even students who are now pursuing their Class 12 are eligible to appear for the examination.
Selection Process
The selection is divided into two stages on the basis of the candidate's Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test scores. Applicants who clear both the stages will have to submit all original academic certificates to the selection board committee.
