The answer key for the Combined State Civil/Upper Subordinate Services {Provincial Civil Services (PCS)} Preliminary Exam 2016 has been released by Uttarakhand public service commission (UKPSC) on its official website recently. The examination was held on January 29, 2017.
How to check answer keys for UKPSC PCS Prelims Exam 2016
- Go to UKPSC official website
- On the top left side of the page, click on the link for 'answer key'
- A new page will open. Click again on 'answer key'
- Click 'Answer Key of Combined State Civil/Upper Subordinate Services (Pre) Exam-2016'
- Click on Pdf link for General Studies or General Aptitude Test (as required)
- A Pdf page will be displayed. It contains four sets of answer keys for all A, B, C and D series of that question paper
- Save it to your computer and take a print-out for future reference
Dates to Note:
The duration in which the answer keys will be available on the UKPSC website is ten days from February 4 to February 13, 2017 (11.59 pm).
Objection Regarding Answers
Objections can be raised by candidates regarding the answer keys according to the instructions provided on the commission's official website. Also, those objections that are received after the last date for submission or sent without following the instructions provided in the answer key notification will not be accepted.

The commission has also issued a format for raising objections to the answer keys. Please also attach self-attested copy of source proof of your answer/s separately.

UKPSC issued the official recruitment notification for the posts on October 8, 2016. There are 138 vacancies in different categories. Selection of the eligible candidates for the posts of UKPSC PCS examination will be done through the written examination (Pre), mains examination and personal interview.

According to UKPSC official website, The State of Uttarakhand came into existence on 09th November, 2000 under the Reorganisation of Uttar Pradesh Act 2000. The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was Constituted under the provisions of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India by the Governor of Uttarakhand vide Notification No. 247/1-Karmik-2001 dated 14th March, 2001. At present the strength of the Commission is the Chairman & the six Members.
