UGC NET July 2016 results will be declared in November

The results of the National Eligibility Test (NET) to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on behalf of UGC, will be out towards the end of November.

In order to check the results, the candidates can visit the official website and click on the link, 'UGC NET July Results 2016'. After clicking the same, the candidates are required to enter the necessary details. Thereafter, the results will be displayed on the screen. Take a printout for future reference.

The test was conducted on July 10 all over the country except Srinagar, where it took place on July 28. The test was conducted in 83 subjects in 88 selected NET examination cities.

About UGC-NET:

The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts UGC NET exam for the recruitment of eligible candidates for the Junior Research Fellow or Assistant Professor Posts.The UGC NET is conducted for 22 different subjects which include almost all the subjects of arts, humanities and computer science.

This examination is conducted twice in a year and one can apply for both the examinations. The CBSE UGC NET 2017 is scheduled to be conducted from January 22.

So, candidates those who are worried about the UGC NET July 2016 result, should relax now, as they can appear for the exam again if they are not successful in their first attempt. There is no restriction on the number of attempts in UGC NET exams.

There are No Age Restrictions to apply for Lectureship post; one can apply for Lectureship Post at any age. But for Junior Research Fellowship Post, your age should not be more than 28 years, after completing this age you are not eligible for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship). But most importantly one must attain the age of 19 years to apply for the UGC NET Exam.
