TNPSC Group IV Phase I Counselling Schedule Released

The schedule for the TNPSC Group IV Phase I counselling has been released by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. The certificates of these candidates have also been verified in prior by the Commission early in April.

Certificate verification for TNPSC Group IV Phase I counselling

For the first phase, certificate verification has been done for a total of 4815 candidates. The break up for it is that 1207 in steno-typist post and the rest in other posts. Per day, the Commission had conducted the certificate verification of 200 (208 and 207 in few cases) candidates as a part of the selection process for various posts included in Group 4 services 2015-2016.

• Junior Assistant, Field Surveyor and Draftsman: 17 July to 8 August
• Typist: 16-30 August 2017
• Steno-Typist: 4-6 September 2017

What does the official notification read?

'The candidate summoned for counselling is not assured of selection and he / she will be admitted for counselling subject to availability of vacancies in his / her category when he / she reaches his / her turn as per the rank position.'

The Commission has urged candidates to refer the community wise or postwise vacancy updates daily before going for the counselling on the communicated date, time and venue by keeping themselves updated with the official website tnpsc.gov.in.
