“That ‘90s show” - The Theme of BITS Pilani's Oasis'14

"The ‘90s. Cartoon Network, Nokia 3310, tacky overalls and cassettes- we wear it all proudly like a medal. With Oasis'14 set to the theme, "That ‘90s show", the feeling of nostalgia hits a new high. This is our era. This is our show."

Oasis presents a plethora of events, designed to fulfill your every whim and fancy. They have Rocktaves, one of the most iconic events of the fest.

Big names like Euphoria, Parikrama, and Indian Ocean owe Rocktaves their claim to fame. They have FashP, which has brought the likes of Vanya Mishra down to our little hamlet.

Choreo, Razz, Desert Duel, Streets. These are some of the best dance competitions in the country, and bring in an enthusiastic crew every year. Treasure Hunt, BLAB, MAMO, these are crowd favourites. It's 96 hours of total mayhem.

This year, the fest expands by bringing in more and more changes. There are new events in store: Acapella, a singing contest (only vocal, as the name suggests), and a Bhangra contest called Clash of the Lions.

Renowned international acts such as the Leona Rodriguez Hula-Hoop Show and the Mr. Banana Show will also make an appearance this Oasis. The Prof Show experience will be unlike ever before, with twice as many shows, concert merchandise, a high-tech sound system and much more!
