The Telangana government, on Tuesday, made a statement clarifying that the recruitment will be conducted without any hurdles for about 85,000 government jobs.
Although a clear timeline was not provided by the government, the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao already promised that all the recruitment would be completed within a year.
But visibly dissatisfied with the lack of sensitivity of the government towards the issue, the opposition parties straightforwardly walked out of the assembly on Tuesday.
When the issue was raised during the question hour on Tuesday, under pressure from the opposition finance minister Etela Rajender conceded clearly that 1,07,744 vacant posts are available from which about 15,000 posts are related to the Kamalanathan committee and related, and about 85,000 posts are district, zonal, multi-zonal posts. Hence concluding that there will be no hurdles for recruitment to these posts.
