The Canadian International School, Bangalore hosted the second edition Technology Conference (TechConX) at the school campus on the weekend.
TechConX 2017 witnessed workshops lead by Google Innovators, Apple Distinguished Educators, and other technology leaders.
130 participants enrolled at TechConX 2017 with eminent speakers from Google and Apple like Ben Friesen, Melanie Kells, Shefali Jhaveri, and Shaun Kirkwood giving an insight on the technology aided workshop.
The event emphasized on 4C's -Creativity and Innovation, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication and Collaboration apart from classroom visits, and keynotes this year.
The conference had the EdTech Team holding workshops on G- Suite for Education.
The emphasis was on training teachers from all over India, to blend technology and education to elevate the standard of education.
Speaking on the occasion, Executive Director Shweta Sastri mentioned, "CIS has been a pioneer in technology, being the first school in Bangalore to adopt a one-to-one iPad integrated teaching and learning program, and TechConX is a great medium to further broaden the horizons of learning and innovation skills".
