Students without entrance score can get admission

The Supreme Court has ordered that the students who have failed to attend or are without entrance examination scores will be provided seats in colleges of Gujarat for MBA, MCA, B.E and Pharmacy courses.

This order will be beneficial to around 1850 students, who were earlier given provisional admissions by the self-financed colleges.

The apex court also directed Association of Self-Financed Colleges to prepare list of candidates admitted to the provisional courses.

Association of Self-Financed Colleges Management President Janak Khandwala said that the order is applicable or the candidates who were given provisional admission by the colleges, but not for those who had not appeared for the entrance test. The colleges have admitted 1,500 students in MBA, 150 in MCA, 200 in B.E.

Khandwala demanded the state government to frame the rules for admitting the students in self-financed colleges where vacancies are available and admit the students who have not appeared for any entrance test conducted by the different bodies.
