Students Claim CBSE Class 12 Math Paper Leak! Officials Refute

Many students who have appeared for the CBSE Class 12 mathematics examination claim that the question papers for the same were leaked on Whatsapp. However, teachers and the officials of the education board deny the claims.

Students from Ranchi and Dhanbad region say that many questions and their sequence similar to that of the question paper was leaked on Whatsapp on Sunday. Parents of these students also claim to have found touts selling questions and answers near the examination centres.

Another students from Chakradharpur, Jharkhand said that the question paper on the day of exam was similar to one leaked on Whatsapp. He also said, "after exam, some students showed an identical question paper in their phones," according a leading newspaper.

However, teachers claimed that some sample question papers were released by the CBSE board before the exams, and the students were misinterpreting it as a leak.

Parents have requested the CBSE board to cancel the paper, and have reportedly mailed the board regarding the issue. According to TOI, the mail reads, "Please do the needful at the earliest. So many agents were selling the solved paper of math in the night of March 13".

Meanwhile, a student from Delhi Public School, Ranchi said that more than 90% of the question paper was similar to the leaked format and the sequence too was the same. The student also added that, "there should be a re-examination in case the paper was actually leaked, otherwise, students who do not deserve would get good marks".

Students Claim CBSE Class 12 Math Paper Leak!

A student was quoted as saying, "Concepts such as Linear Programming and Matrices which have generally got easy questions over the years had tough questions this time. Every question was tricky, as a result of which many of us found it tough to finish the paper on time and many students, including the top scorers in schools, were crying after the exam".

The paper was not leaked and that he had spoken to the CBSE regional office in Patna and this matter is closed for now, said a CBSE coordinator Mr. Manohar Lal in Ranchi.

Earlier, CBSE students and teachers alleged that Maths paper was very very tough. Students complained that even one mark questions were very lengthy. They also demanded Board to retest the exam. The CBSE Class 12 Mathematics paper has made students trip for the second time. The paper was also claimed to be tough and time-consuming as 1 mark questions were lengthy and complex. Many students also stated that they were unable to finish the exam in 3 hours.
