There has been some changes introduced In a recent update in the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The change is made to the Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination 2017.
What does the SSC official notification read?
The SSC official notification mentions about changes in the Paper 2 descriptive test. Candidates who have registered for the examination must go through the changes properly and make a note of the changes done, particularly in the exam date.
SSC Paper 2 Exam date changed
The official notification reads that that Paper 2 (descriptive) which was scheduled for 15 June 2017 will now be held on 6 August 2017. As for the Paper 1 (objective type), no changes have been made. The exam will be held on 15 June 2017.
Educational Requirement
For each of the posts, the qualification differs. Preference will be given for candidates with Masters or Bachelors degree in Hindi or English are majorly encouraged to apply for the post.
Also, candidates with Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa are also eligible to apply, provided they have required experience.
Note:
According to the official notification, candidates who have not acquired/will not acquire the educational qualification as on 01.01.2017 will not be eligible and need not apply. Selection Process Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Paper 1 and Paper 2 only.
