The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Multi Taking Exam (MTS) 2016 that began on April 30 has been cancelled.
What did the SSC MTS Exam official notification read?
"The said examination would now be conducted by the Commission afresh in the computer based mode, tentatively during the month of September-October, 2017. The details in this regard would be hosted on the website of the Commission in due course," the commission added.
SSC MTS Paper Leak
The SSC MTS 2016 Paper-I (afternoon shift) held on April 30, was cancelled by the commission after the question paper and the answer keys were leaked on the social media.
While reporting the event, Neetu Singh, director of KD Campus, uploaded images of the question paper and sought assistance from the SSC and the PMO. On her Facebook page, as per reports, the director of the coaching provider institution asked the students about the paper and the same was confirmed.

Selection process
The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of their performance in Paper 1. Paper 2 will be only of qualifying nature. The cut-offs for both the papers may be different for various vacancies in each state/UT. It will be fixed at the discretion of the commission. Candidates for each state/UT will be finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic qualifying standards fixed in Paper-II.
Salary details
Selected candidates will be paid between Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 with the grade pay of Rs 1,800.
