SSC CHSL Examination 2015

Only 2 days remaining for SSC CHSL examination 2015 to begin. SSC CHSL 2015 exam will commence from November 1st, 2015 all over India. In Karnataka Kerala region the exam is scheduled to be held on 15th and 22nd of November 2015. Find all the details of SSC CHSL examination including admit card, syllabus exam pattern and much more.

The exam, conducted by Staff Selection Commission for the selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of Postal Assistants / Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Lower Division Clerks (LDC) in various govt. departments & ministries.

Combined Higher Secondary Level - CHSL examination has released the admit cards on its official website. The examination for SSC-CHSL is planned to be conducted on the 1st, 15th and 22nd of November, 2015. Candidates will be recruited based on their performance in the written exam. Personal interview/skill test may also be held if necessary.

Candidates have to enter the name, date of birth or registration id. Submit the same, the admit card will be displayed on the screen. The candidates must take a print-out for future use.

The admit card will be consisting the following details:

Roll number
Duration of the exam
Centre where the exam will be conducted
Exam details

Candidates appearing for SSC CHSL have to carry the admit card failing which they will not be allowed to write the test.No candidates will recieve hard copy of the admit card.

SSC CHSL 2015 Exam Pattern

No of sections: 4 ( 50 marks for each section which totals upto 200 marks)
Negative marking is also there for this exam, each negative answer will result in negative marking of 0.25 marks.

SSC CHSL 2015 Exam Syllabus

01. General Intelligence & Reasoning :- This topic is very interesting as it test your mental ability and presence of mind. It includes ques. of both verbal and non-verbal type. Topics are Semantic Analogy, Symbolic Operations, Symbolic/ Number Analogy, Trends, Figural Analogy, Space, Orientation, Semantic Classification, Venn Diagrams, Symbolic/ Number Classification, Drawing interference etc.

02. Quantitative Aptitude :- This includes Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry and Statistical Charts. These are the 06 main topics to be study in Quantitative Aptitude. Among these trigonometry and Statistical Charts are found tough by the applicants to solve. So applicants should carefully solve these questions.

03. General Awareness :- Questions in this section are designed to test the general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. This will also test the knowledge of the applicants of Current Affair or Events and day to day activities. Questions will asked also from History, Culture, Geography, Economics, General Policy etc.

04. General English :- 10+2 level Grammar questions will be asked like Spot the Error, Fill in the blanks, Synonyms/ Homonyms,Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting Mis-Spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitutions, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of verbs etc.
