Over 1,200 functionaries of block and district level will be given special training on different aspects under the Right To Education (RTE) Act, 2009.
Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority (OPEPA) is organising the five-day training programme, under Sarva Sikshya Abhiyan (SSA).
The core idea of the programme is to ensure that all children are admitted to schools, maximum retention and better quality of education is given to children. 50 schools will be managed under each block level functionary, said a senior OPEPA official.
Three functionaries are being trained from every block under the programme.
