Sharda University, Greater Noida, is all set to organise a national conference on 'Global to Local: Issues, Challenges and Opportunities in Business'. The conference is organised by School of Business Studies, a department of Sharda University. Interested people can register themselves by visiting the official website of the university.
The theme, Global to Local is to give a solution for the developing nations to fight with global economic crises. The Globalisation has crept in to the business very fast and sooner the whole economy of India has become dependent upon global companies. It gives prosperity, employment and development but the impact of global economic crises clearly gives a message that we should not leave our trust on local business.
The local business may not be big recruiters but their contribution in employment generation, cluster development, conservation of handicraft can not be ignored. The specific thrust on local business will give a solution to migration towards specific cities, resource mobilisation, generation of local employment, indefinite problems of metro cities etc. This is the time when we need to identify the contribution of local business like agri business, handicraft, in GDP and the special arrangement in budget for local industries.
The conference intends to deal with the analysis of the present Global and local economic issues, their opportunities and challenges to be discussed by the scholars, researchers and corporate people and to discuss the strategy to safeguard our economy as well as to help global recovery in a short span of time through managing the crisis effectively.
